‘Know where you want to go, make decisions aligned to your objectives, ensure everyone understands, then do it’

Our history

Abwick was established in 2017 to provide solutions to the mining industry in Africa. Partnering with a large international gold mining company, the primary focus was finding strategic misalignment between functional areas, and operational inefficiencies across the multiple mine sites to sufficiently inform the executive team for upcoming key investment decisions.

Following on from this, the current Abwick leadership team first combined and then broadened their respective experiences for a number of years within the Tier 1 management consulting environment; providing strategic governance, performance and policy advice, primarily into the Department of Defence, amongst a few other government and commercial clients along the way.

Abwick relaunched in 2021 into its next chapter; it is now led by a small core leadership team, with a strong network of specialists on hand to provide a bespoke service aligned to our client’s needs. We bring the experience, diligence and expertise of institutional management consulting, coupled with the adaptability and flexibility which boutique consulting teams are renowned for.

Abwick has delivered value to clients across sectors such as Defence, Government, manufacturing, technology, logistics; we’ve worked with a variety of organisations from start-ups through to established multi-generational businesses and Govt departments.

Our focus

Abwick’s focus is to build the capability of your own team to better execute your strategic objectives; we help you better understand your own needs before you externally source tenders for large, expensive and resource heavy implementation projects with the larger corporate players. We shape our support towards your needs; whether it is to review/adjust the strategy, the way you do business, options for diversification, growth strategies, or to simply better communicate your value to the market.

Call us, before you call them; to ensure you spend your time and money more judiciously.
